i was teaching tuition just now and this conversation happened.

yi hui: hai ling jie jie what is dying? is dying like sleeping?
me: erm... yeah i would say so.
yh:is dying like thinking of your family all this?
me: hmmm maybe?
yh: is dying like just go away?
me: ye...yeah.

silence.

yh: maybe we have live before last time hor.. like before we drink the meng..
me: meng po tang
yh: ya maybe hor?
me: yeah maybe i was a pig in my previous life
yh: hahaha pig!! i wanna be a butterfly(or sth like tt)
me: yeah maybe i will become a bird in my next life time
yh: yeah then i wanna be a bird oso then we can be friends!

LOL for 15 seconds.

silence.

yh: i think i wanna be a cat next life time so i can catch u.

and i decided against telling her i might wanna be a dog next time to chase her around cos it'll be endless and she needs to complete her work.

whats up with kids and their big thinkings nowadays? invoking so much thoughts in my brain. but yi hui's forever leaving questions in my head, whether or not she is conscious of it. she is extremely adorable. =) loves her.
